He comes from a family of dancers and artists, He is the son of Farzana Darbar and Ismail Darbar,with his father being a famous choreographer and his brother, Zaid Darbar, also being a popular social media influencer. He also has a sister named Anam.

He studied from St.Stanislaus High School Bandra and then he completed his graduation at the University of Mumbai.

Awez Darbar started his career as a choreographer and has worked on several Bollywood films, including "Batti Gul Meter Chalu", "Housefull 4", and "Street Dancer 3D", among others. He has also worked with several popular Bollywood celebrities, including Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Mouni Roy.
