She completed her schooling from Vasant Vihar High School in Thane  and later graduated from V.G.Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce in Mulund in Mass Media. As a student she was very active in debates and public speaking.

Prajakta began her career as a content creator in 2015, when she started posting videos on YouTube under the name MostlySane. Her videos primarily feature comedic skits and vlogs, and she quickly gained a large following for her relatable and funny content. Before launching her channel in 2015, she interned with a radio channel but she quit her job because she was motivated to launch her own channel.
